On April 12, 2023, a two-vehicle accident occurred on I-635 Southbound at milepost 1.3 in Wyandotte County, Kansas, leaving one driver injured and both vehicles with significant damage. The 2016 Mercedes C Class also sustained significant damage and was towed. Goode, who was also wearing her safety restraint at the time of the accident, was taken to KU Med for a possible injury complaint.
